Poor Shopping Experience

I am horrified that an online business like this is still operating, after all of the bad reviews it has received. I placed an order for a camera battery on 1 January 2009 and paid via Paypal immediately. I still have not received my order and will not receive my order. I tried lodging lodging tickets for an update on my order but had no response. There is no phone number on their site for them to be contacted which is very convenient, for them! I know all of my company details (street address and contact numbers) needed to be online before I could even open an account for payments with my website.

Then I cam upon this site which actually had contact details. When I phoned them on the 29th I spoke with a lady who advised that they have been so busy and short staffed therefore they could not even send an email to provide me with an update. She then proceeded to tell me that the camera battery was not in stock, after it showed it was when purchasing, and that their distributor was doing a stock take and could not release any items, including my one camera battery, until they had finished the stock take. I was then informed that I was to receive a refund, I asked when this may happen and I was told sometime within the next two weeks.

I own an online store (www.gollygumdrops.com.au) and I would never treat my customers in the way that these people have treated me and I don't care if they are short staffed, this is no excuse, and a bit of customer service goes a long way!
