BAD EXPERIENCE

I strongly advise against buying from Shopping Safari. My camera never arrived. My emails were ignored. Finally after 3 weeks, I lodged a dispute with Pay Pal - thank goodness I paid through Pay Pal so I had their protection. Only after lodging the Pay Pal dispute did Shopping Safari contact me and said they were out of stock (yet they are still selling the camera on their website!) and SS offered me another camera instead (more $ to be paid too). I said I wanted a refund. SS then told me that I had to close the dispute with Pay Pal first and then they would be able to refund me. They told me that because of the Pay Pal dispute the payment to them was on hold so this is what I should do. This was totally dodgy advice - I checked with Pay Pal who said on no account close the dispute as it then cannot be re-opened and I then would have no guarantee that SS would pay me. Pay Pal said SS should offer the refund through the Pay Pal resolution centre. I told SS to do this and if not done I would escalate it to a Pay Pal claim. Funny how SS then immediately gave me a refund through Pay Pal. It was a very bad experience with SS and I think they are dodgy.
