The service experienced on behalf of Unique mobiles was dismal. I purchased a Samsung E250 in pink (red) on the 15.07.2008. After having the mobile for only a few days the sound quality played up, however, once I had emailed Unique mobiles the problem rectified itself miraculously. After only 6 weeks of the mobile in my possession it simply stopped working. I contacted Unique Mobiles only to be informed that I must contact the Samsung customer service centre. When I did this I was informed that Unique Mobiles is -get this- NOT EVEN AN AUTHORISED SELLER of Samsung mobile phones. Of course this made me upset so I contacted Unique mobiles again only to be asked to send the mobile to them for inspection, only if the product contained no damage then would me refund be issued. So I sent the mobile off as requested. 7 Weeks have passed since the mobile was sent away and I have finally, only today, received an email claiming that the mobile had a cracked LCD screen- which it did not have while in my possession. Hence Customer support and overall satisfaction are through the floor, absolutely unsatisfactory and the product did not meet my expectations.

I purchased a Samsung i600 from Unique Mobiles and having read this my hope of having my problem resolved has diminished even further. The ordering and delivery service was excellent but when I found I was unable to configure MMS my troubles began. As far as I can ascertain ( no thanks to Unique Mobiles) the phone is programmed with Vodaphone dedicated software. As the screens do not match the manual set up procedure, even with the assistance of my provider (Optus) I am unable to set up MMS.
Unique Mobiles does not reply to my e mails requesting assistance, in fact I suspect they do not even have a service department. Prospective customers beware that if you have a problem after delivery you are probably better off putting up with it or purchasing a new phone, not from Unique Mobiles.

I also have had a horrendous situation with Unique Mobiles. After purchasing the phone I noted that there was an issue with the reception. After sending it back the software was apparently updated. When it was finally returned to me nothing had changed. I am now going through an Office of Fair Trading claim and would suggest that anyone else in this situation also go through the same channel. These guys are not to be trusted under any circumstances!!!
