	The NB8W PerformaPlus ADSL2+ Modem Router is an extremely powerful internet access device delivering top-line performance expected of a unit bearing the PeformaPlus name. PerformaPlus is designed to deliver robust performance to handle multiple processor-intensive Internet applications simultaneously including: VoIP, Video on Demand, High Definition Multimedia Streaming, Web-serving/hosting, On-line gaming etc. The PerformaPlus series is ideal for the demanding home or small business user that does not compromise on quality or performance when selecting broadband or computer hardware. The NB8W makes connection easy for both wired and wireless users. To further boost Internet performance, the NB8W supports up to 8 continuous virtual connections (PVC’s) allowing for multiple simultaneous Internet connections. Security is a key element in the NB8W with active firewall technology (SPI/DoS, packet filtering, parental and access control) and a host of Wireless security features including WEP, WPA and 802.1 x authentication. The NB8W features Layer 3 QoS (Quality of Service) that makes it ideal for use with VoIP.
