Why is Mickey Mouse so expensive?

Strengths: Very cute looking phone and manages to capture the child's(and sometimes the parents') imagination

Weaknesses: Expensive, not very user-friendly and can get a bit boring after some time

This is one phone which I would judge not by the features it sports but by the way it looks. As an all-time fan of Mickey Mouse, my first reaction the Dmobo M900 bordered on excitement and I had to control myself in front of my seven year old for whom I was actually checking out the mobile phone. Though my initial reaction to the M900 was favorable (meant I could have bought the phone for myself as well!) I had to settle for another model since the price was too high considering the features of the phone.

The Dmobo took me back to my visit to Disneyland and not just for the looks, but also for the fact that the M900 tried to dupe users with overpriced goods. The phone is just not worth the high price tag and is quite similar to the over priced toys, food and beverage sold at Disneyland. What's more is that the Dmobo M900 also did not impress me with any spectacular features when it came to usability. My son was able to use my Nokia far more easily than the Dmobo and that is something worth noticing when buying a mobile phone.

There is no doubt that there is a cuteness factor when it comes to the Dmobo M900…however, the novelty factor wears off after some time and then you realize that you have actually bought an over-priced cheap plastic phone which just does not make the cut for you. I would recommend people to buy the Dmobo only if their children are creating a fuss about it and you would like to give in to their tantrums. Otherwise, it is just not worth it!
