if you are like me and tend to get lost both at a new as well as an old place ( where you might have been a few dozen times) then it is definitely time to evaluate a GPS system which can be your constant companion when on the road. The Tom Tom’s features are quite good and advanced. It works in almost any part of the world and most users have had little difficulty while using the Tom Tom.

One of the pre-requisite with using the Tom Tom is that it needs frequent updates and that can be a bit painful. However, if you miss out on the updates, don’t be surprised if you end up in a road which does not show up in your tracking device. The Tom Tom is more updates for European use and if you are new to the road there ( trust me, the roads in Europe can be tricky, specially in the older cities) then Tom Tom can be a life saver.

Since The GPRS market is fairly new and users are just getting around to it, you might experience some teething problems when setting up the Tom Tom. For example, the unit might be a bit on the heavier side and not very mobile ( so you have to leave it behind in the car even if you are worried about it getting stolen). Furthermore, some users might find the navigation a bit tough as you have to work your way around it which might even result in stopping for a few minutes to understand what the system is explaining to you. However, despite of all these minor issues, the Tom Tom does score high on the usability front which means that the results are more or less quite accurate and that is the reason why you purchase a GPRS system…right?
