Buying the perfect scanner is no easy task though Epson Perfection 3590 comes close. The scanner gets full point for overall stylishness and design and is a practical choice if you are looking for an excellent auto-feed scanner which can handle a fairly large volume of work. The Epson Perfection 3590 is quite easy to move around and more compact than its peers. It also comes with an easy to install driver and the USB cable (bless Epson) is also part of the original packaging.

The performance is quite good when compared with other scanners in the same category but does fall short when it comes to the quality of scanned film which alas, has enough background noise which questions the claims of the manufacturers. I guess expecting higher quality at this price might be a bit of overkill as the price tag really is very affordable. The overall rating of performance for this scanner is eight on ten and is definitely recommended if you intend to buy a scanner which gives good performance with minimum fuss.

The initial mind block of buying an Epson product might initially discourage you to buy this scanner but you need not worry too much about it since it is a product which is reasonably priced and has a good performance to go with it. If your requirement is more sophisticated than the level of performance promised by this printer, then you can even consider purchasing the more advanced models of the Epson Perfection range of scanners.
