Strengths: Reasonable pricing

Weaknesses: heavy unit

With such reasonable price, this UPS works great and exceeds my expectation. When there is a power outage, the internal batteries would provide 5-15 mins backup time to shut down electronic devices properly. The internal battery is also replaceable. However, since such UPSes could only be purchase via Websites, it is difficult to see if it is really suitable for us the customers. When there is a need of RMA and repair, the shipping may cost a lot due to its weight. Although Opti-UPS's customer services would offer trade-up when they have determined the device is not worth of doing the RMA and they often suggest a newer model with better pricing, I personally would still want to do that in store so there is no need to do the shipping myself.
