Strengths: Very long list of features, good exterior and very easy to use. Reasonably priced too.

Weaknesses: Some of the images might not have a high level of detailing

The DMC FZ18 is no ordinary camera. This beauty from Panasonic comes in an all-black case which makes the overall dimensions of the camera look larger than they actually are and gives it an excellent look and feel which is not very common in the rather bulky looking camera. Apart from this, the feature list of the Panasonic DMC FZ18 is excellent and is likely to be a long lasting partner to a photo lover.

Talking about the features of the Panasonic DMC FZ18 is no simple task as the list is fairly long. It might be reasonable to say that the output is pretty good and though very high quality of detailing is not available, you do manage to enjoy the photos as they are far superior to the output from other cameras. The camera controls are well placed and it starts to feel like an extension of your body over a period of time (well, I am kidding but that sounds like a good expression to me!).

The last part for consideration is the price (though some of us might take that as the first point of consideration really) and on that front, the Panasonic DMC FZ18 is rated pretty high as well. there is no doubt that the DMC FZ18 is a highly recommended camera which comes equipped to provide some of the best features that you can find on a digital SLR. In fact, it can also be recommended for professional use if the requirement is not very complicated. The only thing that can be better than the DMC FZ18 is the next upgrade model from Panasonic.
