Strengths: Amazing camera with amazing results

Weaknesses: Takes some getting used to.

The size of Fuji FinePix S8000 digital camera can make it look like a full blown professional digital camera which in reality it is NOT. What the S8000 is, is a fantastically designed camera which offers a cool 8 megapixel strength but comes in a body of a manual camera which not only adds stability, it also gives the user a good looking camera to boot.

The FinePix S8000 comes with a multitude of features which can baffle you for some time but as you get your way around it, you realize that the camera is well worth its asking price and though it still not does make the cut as a professional camera, it is pretty close. Most of the on-board softwares are easy to use and follow and they allow you to improve your photographs to a large extent. This fact can only be verified once you use the FinePix (real cool name by the way for the camera) and see the results for yourself.

Other than the on-board camera, the FinePix S8000 is an excellent buy as it offers an 18x (yes, you read it right….it is 18x) zoom which does not get pixilated even at a high level of zoom. If you have been using a point and shoot camera so far, you would need to so some basic change to your mind set before you can really enjoy this camera. With the FinePix S8000 from Fuji, you can bid red eye, noisy images, blurred motions and all other photo spoilers a happy good bye!
