Strengths: Amazingly haunting perfume which stays on and on

Weaknesses: Very difficult to find

It is easy to get poetic about perfumes which tend to transport you to another world all together and By Woman by none other than Dolce Gabbana seems to have a strong capability of doing so. The perfume is not really fully feminine, that is there are some mature masculine tones which linger long after the evening is over. By Woman is likely to part of you thanks to its strong fragrance which comes from its musk origins.

Do keep in mind that By Woman is not meant for the teeny-bopper as it does not have any of so-called fun fragrant tones. By Woman is mostly meant for women of 25 to 45 years (not that I am counting out anyone) as it s a fragrance which simmers with passion and is not over-the-top either. The perfume also takes time to settle down and depending on the person's body chemistry; By Woman changes its tone ever so slowly.

A very unusual tone which persists mildly in By Woman is the coffee note which is very relaxing and does not interfere with the other tones of the perfume. As a classical fragrance, By Woman is not very easily available and you would need to look around before you can land yourself an original bottle. Everything said and done, By Woman from D&G is likely to go down the annals of history as a perfume which was meant to be made by a woman, for women all over the world!
