Strengths: Reasonably priced and a tried and tested fragrance

Weaknesses: Not the right choice if you hope to make a fashion statement

The house of Givenchy is popular for launching aromatic products which have a significant Eastern influence and Amarige is one such fragrance which manages to showcase a mix of European quality with a dash of Eastern mystique. The oriental notes are apparent from the packaging as well as the tones used to create the fragrance. Amarige is quite good for everyday use and is quite for work wear use as well.

If you are looking for a fragrance which makes a fashion statement, then Amarige is not the right one…though it does have all the makings of a good fragrance, it was launched almost sixteen years ago and that kind of makes the perfume a ‘has-been’. Having said that, there are some of us who still like to bet on a tried and tested product rather than take the risk with a new product.

Everything said and done, if you want a good quality and reasonably priced perfume which does not change tones after you have used it, then go for Amarige…it is also an excellent gift choice as the perfume is quite reasonably priced. The only problem you might face that the perfume has become quite common thanks to its age!
