Strengths: it has done its job!

Weaknesses: too heavy!

The UPS has replaceable battery designed. Although it is heavy, it only shows the units has many batteries with longer back-up run times and it provides enough capacity voltage for my electronic devices. This UPS also has a multi-functional LCD display and built-in serial port so it is easy to operate. The software - OPTI-SAFE XTREME helps to protect, monitor, and remote the UPS easily through web browser. It also will alert occurring power events through e-mail so I do not need to worry about it while I am out for business trip. Another great feature is that it supports dependent shutdown. If you lost the software, you can still go to the company Website to find the right software for the unit. The UPS and the software perform great especially in shutting down electronic devices and saving them from power outage during summer. The unit is very heavy, which also mean heavy shipping cost. It seems that OPTI-UPS's product cannot be purchase in local stores. Therefore, when there is a need to purchase new batteries or to send it back for repair, the shipping may charge a lot!
