Strengths: Good performance, excellent size and quick adaptability

Weaknesses: Acer itself is not a very popular brand

The Acer AL2416WD is a hidden gem really when it comes to LCD Monitors ( though I am not sure how long it will remain hidden considering the rave reviews it is getting). The display is positively fantastic and that should be the only reason for you to pick up the monitor. The size at 24 inches is very comfortable both for computer usage as well as other entertainment requirements.

Though Acer does not figure in the list of the best computer products and I would not have opted for this monitor had I not seen the performance with my own eyes. The AL2416WD external frame looks very nice and inviting and you are unlikely to need an upgrade sometime soon.

Some of the main areas of concern when buying a LCD Monitor is the size, performance and how it comfortable it feels once you get it to replace your old monitor. Many first-time LCD monitor users miss the compact comfort of their older monitors and that is something which is quite understandable. The Acer AL2416WD on the contrary, lets you settle down quite well and that is yet another reason for you to opt for the 24 inch monitor.
