Strengths: Good price, commonly accepted size and exterior display is decent

Weaknesses: Performance is well below expectation and height cannot be adjusted

22 inch monitors are one of the most common sizes and are heavily in demand as they tend to fit into most rooms and the ViewSonic VX2235WM is a monitor which fits right in. the external styling of the monitor is quite well done and is likely to enhance the look and feel of your desktop. This is the point at which many first-time-LCD-Monitor buyers succumb as well.

If like to know a bit more about the LCD Monitor which you are going to take home with you, you need to switch it on and play around with it a little. On checking the standard displays, the ViewSonic VX2235WM rates quite well and the trademark three birds of ViewSonic look like they are going to fly away right now. However, the age old problem of non-adjustable height continues to exist in this model as well and that can be a problem for users for whom the monitor is bit on the higher side.

Though the pricing of the ViewSonic 22 inch LCD monitor is very reasonable, the performance leaves a lot to be desired. The blacks are not all that black and images will most likely be blurred along the edges at all times. The text part of the display is more or less OK but if you are looking for delightfully crisp display, then you would need to look elsewhere. The ViewSonic VX2235WM is an average monitor and OK for functions which are not very graphic heavy.
