The built-in hard disk based camcorders hold a certain appeal to those who are looking for easy handling and quick recording features and the JVC Everio GZ MG275 is a perfect fit. Though the JVC Hard Disk Camcorder looks a lot like the previous camcorders by JVC and is fairly large in size when compared to the digital cameras available these days, the performance helps in making it a fairly good choice.

The hard disk size of the JVC Everio stands at 40 GB which allows you to record quite a few hours of video without having to worry about disk space. It is a welcome break from tapes but those of you needing a professional outcome where the video can be edited easily; the hard disk will not suffice. The JVC Everio is also reasonably priced which means that it fits into the budget quite well of most buyers.

Competition however, gets the better of this Hard Disk Camcorder since there is a similar model available from Panasonic as well. Other add-ons include a wireless remote, good mechanism to protect the camera in rough situations and an easy way to get started on your first set of videos. The JVC Camcorder is a good value for money buy though it is not meant for the professional user.
