The iMate JasJar is equivalent to a mini-laptop

Strengths: Intuitive phone with some very good productive features for the person who needs computing power when on the move

Weaknesses: Low battery life and largish in size

The iMate from JasJar is like any other PDA and comes equipped with a full QWERTY keypad which makes data entry one of the easiest thing to do with the phone. The 'smart' phone offers an excellent mix of desktop functions conveniently located on the phone and thus you do not miss out on any action when you are away from your desk.

Some of the mobile functions include email connectivity, easy voice calls and contacts management. You can get to any of the functions you want via the shortcut buttons on the phone keypad. Other standard usability features include backlight, good set of infrared sensors and good speakers which let you enjoy music on the go. The camera of the iMate is also quite decent and lets you take some fairly good video as well.

Even with so many good features boosting the rating and performance of the iMate JasJar, it ends up loosing out on the grounds of a poor battery life which does not comfortably support the milieu of features which the phone has. Other than that, the JasJar phone is no where close to being sleek and this might not sit well with many users. The swivel screen is interesting but it adds oodles of weight to the phone. Performance of the JasJar however, is quite good making the phone well worth the price (and the size!).
