Strengths: easy to use basic navigator

Weaknesses: fragile screen, poor customer support, inaudible bluetooth handsfree.

I had one of these for about 8 months and it did the job OK, but one day I hit a pothole in the road and the shake cracked the screen. I tried contacting technical support on the off chance that it maybe covered under the warranty, but after multiple attempts I gave up.

The unit itself, functioned OK. It kept a signal well even without a clear view of the sky. It was not possible to add multiple stops in a route, or to put in places to avoid.

I would never buy a Navman again because their technical support does not reply to you.

I agree with your feelings about Navman, I had a ICN720 and tried to get the Aus Maps from Navman Support. It took them 14 days to reply and then they were not interested in helping me. Have since bought a Uniden and a Garmin. I will never look at Navman again.

I bought my 50 last July. By August, they were telling me that for only a few hundred dollars, I could get 'current' map upgrades. I think I made a mistake in buying a second Navman. I have found access to support difficult to impossible, and their delays when awaiting service, on the phone intolerable. Often had to wait twenty to thirty minutes before getting through to a person, and generally had to give up. Benjie
