Strengths: Confusing masculine perfume with a pink bottle and some floral notes

Weaknesses: This perfume may not be liked by all and sundry. Start to smell stale after a while (there! I have sounded the perfume’s death knell! )

A masculine perfume in a pink bottle is bound to raise some eyebrows and even cause confusion at the time of shopping but I guess that the designers had a ‘metro sexual man’ concept in their mind when creating this perfume. Zoop as a brand is very well known for men but what comes as a surprise is the average quality of this perfume and the fact that it tends to loose its fragrance when stale.

If you are happy to accept a pink perfume bottle and feel that it does not insult your masculine intelligence, then it is quite likely that you will like the perfume as well. Zoop Homme offers a unique aromatic experience which is very long lasting and emerges from a mixture of honey, vanilla, tobacco (I guess that is where the staleness comes from…but I will leave it for you to decide) and tonka beans.

Though the combination is mostly woody, there is an aftermath of floral tones which can also give the perfume the character of a unisex perfume. The first splash of the perfume is no doubt unique but you need to make sure that you don’t leave it on for too long or you will end up enduring a very stale fragrance in no time.

Some tips while using Zoop Homme (I think they should publish a small hand book along with the perfume…but then…I am being a bit mean here!!) is that you should be doubly sure before buying the fragrance and a sampler at this stage would be a big help. Furthermore, use the perfume sparingly since it is quite concentrated and strong. Last but not the least; forget about it if you do not receive any compliments once you start using the perfume…maybe Zoom Homme is not for you!
