As the name suggests, Red Door from Elizabeth Arden is a strong floral perfume which is suitable for both daytime and evening use. The dark colored perfume should be used with care as it might leaves stains on garments which are impossible to get rid off. Since the perfume has a strong tone, it may not be liked by everyone.

A regular sized bottle of Red Door tends to last for a really long time and thus it makes it an affordable buy. This fragrance has also been around for quite some time and though the bottle is quite average looking when compared to the new stylish bottles of recently launched fragrances, it manages to hold its own quite well. The perfume bottle is also defined like one of the old fashioned doors which opened into a brownstone mansion and this helps add an old-world charm to the perfume.

Red Door is definitely not a perfume meant for the lily-hearted since it has a strong overtone of floral notes. Those who do not like floral or whose body chemistry does not match with large floral perfumes should definitely stay away from Red Door from the house of Elizabeth Arden. The ylang ylang tends to linger and bring out the beauty of the other floral tones in the perfume.
