Strengths: Supports most video, audio, still picture formats. Connects to youtube and RSS feeds.

Weaknesses: took some time to figure out streaming issues

I was quite disappointed with the device initially - there were lots of bugs, the device would hang or reboot itself ffrequently and lots of video files wouldn't play.

It took some time for me to make it perfect. First, the latest firmware is excellent - stable, fast, with quite friendly UI. Second, I realized that a lot of my problems were due to slow network/hard drives. Once I addressed those issues, everything works great. I stream HD movies without any problems - the whole thing is now a pleasant exprience. It took some time thow to arrive at that.

Here's my advice for those who may be struggling:
1. Invest in fast, 1GB network + SATAII disks. Although the device itself is only 100Mbps, it seems it benefits a great deal from a fast network and fast hard drives.
2. Go wired. Wireless is ok for music and standard video but struggling with High Def. movies

I found this NAS device of great value. It also works well - great UI and management utilities.
