Strengths: Very large sized screen, good quality display and value-for-money purchase

Weaknesses: Not 1080p compatible and has some reflection issues

It's quite impressive. Size does help this Samsung 42 inch HD Plasma television brownie points with users as it manages to create a bigger impression over its competitors. The large screen is further enhanced by the fact that the picture quality is also quite good. Samsung ends up giving competition a good run for their money with the clear black displays and the impressive detailing which can be viewed in each frame.

There is some bit of reflection which can be seen but that is quite negligible which and the 1080p is not an option with the Samsung PS42Q91HDX which might be limiting in the next couple of years but currently it is not a problem. Other Samsung features are quite good and unlikely to leave you with any complaints about the viewing.

The external styling of the television is also one of the best in the industry which adds a design element in your living room. Thanks to the large size of the television, the 42 inch Samsung is not very popular as a room television and you should ensure that you have sufficient space before you opt for it. There is no doubt about the fact that Samsung flat screen televisions are good value-for-money buys and come highly recommended from all quarters.
