Strengths: Excellent performance coupled with good looks and amazing display

Weaknesses: Touch pad is a bit too sensitive and battery life could have been better

The Zen looks anything but calm. The snazzy color offering makes Creative Labs Zen Vision look quite happening and the 30 GB media player is substantial competition for the iPod the Zen Vision can get high ratings for almost everything starting from the look and feel and going up to its high quality performance. The larger-than-iPod body makes it easier to handle and the LCD screen is also slightly larger than the iPod.

Other than comparing the Zen Vision with the iPod (which is a very natural thing to do considering I am out shopping for the best media player around) there are other ways to determine the 'cool' concept of the Zen Vision. The performance of the media player rocks and that acts as a clincher to the deal of buying this media player. Price wise, the Zen Vision is competitive but it might have got a lot more takers has it been priced a bit lower.

You might say that there is nothing like a perfect thing? Well, the Zen Vision might be good, but it is not perfect. It does have some performance issues which revolve around the over-sensitive touch pad. Other than that the battery life lets you down a bit. Other than these really minor issues, the Zen Vision stands tall in the range of media players available today and can be voted as a real good choice!
