Cute. That was the first word which came to my mind when I saw the Apple iPod and its design is probably going to influence a lot of buying decisions! True to Apple tradition, the iPod does not have only design as a selling point. The Nano's fairly large storage capacity at 4 GB is a very attractive proposition and offers hours of amazing quality music while on-the-go. The fact that the iPod Nano comes in a wide range of very stylish colors is what makes it stand out from other 'industrial' looking MP3 players!

However, the size does end up getting in the way of a perfect MP3 player and the battery life of Nano is very disappointing and this is something which you discover once you start using the MP3 player. If you are considering buying the Nano, don’t get mislead by a pretty face and nice sound…it comes to naught when the battery just dies on your in mid-song! So though it offers a high level of portability, it falls short on a key requirement of a good battery life.

On the pricing front, the iPod Nano is not the cheapest option available when it comes to MP3 players but the Apple branding makes all the difference. Buy the Nano if you are conscience about the brand you want to sport but if you are looking for hours of uninterrupted music, then the iPod Nano just does not make the cut. The decision to buy the Nano is not an easy one since it looks so good and is so compact…do remember to get a case for it if you do decide to buy this sleek, but underpowered MP3 player.
