Home videos become a tad easier with the Panasonic SDR H20 SD HDD which comes with a built-in hard disk drive with 30 GB disk space which permits users to save a good deal of video footage. It is recommended that you pick up the Panasonic SDR video camera if you do not require still images (or require few of them) since the quality on that front is a bit dubious. As a hybrid camcorder the SDR H20 does offer a number of manual controls which can let you get quite creative.

This HDD camcorder is also quite well designed and since there are a limited number of players in the HDD camera market, Panasonic might be the only choice you have. Do keep in mind that you would also need to have a really stable hand (or a good tripod) when shooting with the SDR since videos do occasionally have a shiver to them. Other than this, the Dolby sound system come up with flying colors and this really enhances the picture value.

The pricing aspect of the HDD camera takes it to the medium level and though it is not the cheapest one with this range of features, it is also not hideously expensive. Having said that, it might be worth noting that many professional photographers feel that the image quality of the Panasonic H20 falls a bit short considering the wide range of manual controls it offers. Either ways, HDD cameras are still pretty much in a novelty with many users so if you are looking for a HDD camera which does not bust the bank…then H20 is the one for you.
