BenQ FP202W: Not bad for a 20 inch monitor….

Strengths: Good screen refresh speed, very good gaming experience and mid-range price

Weaknesses: Limited height adjustment, controls placed on the side and not so great for watching movies

Going widescreen? Then do check out the BenQ 20 inch LCD monitor which has an excellent refresh rate and comes equipped with enough features to make it a gamers' delight. The monitor is at a respectable 20 inch size which is sufficient for viewing all kinds of content. There is little which you can complain about when it comes to the BenQ FP202W and that is what makes it an excellent buy.

The only limitation which one can figure out in the monitor is the fact that it is small in size for those who are interested in watching long duration content such as movies etc. the pricing is slightly on the higher side when compared to other monitors of the same size but they are unlikely to enjoy the same screen refresh rate as this BenQ one. The look and feel of the monitor is quite good and looks good just about anywhere.

What comes as a bit of surprise are the controls of the screen are placed on the side and though it looks good in terms of design (innovative even), it does not conform to usability standards and is quite difficult to use. The height adjustment option of the monitor is also limited and it seems like BenQ was not expecting users to use the monitor anywhere else apart from the desk. These are minor issues which do not affect the screen quality of the monitor and that's what matters the most in a good screen anyways.
