An excellent little pocket AM/FM radio

I've had this little radio for nearly two years now.

Very good sound quality when medium to good signal strength is available. Variable FM sensitivity (local / DX) helps in situations where signal strength is both very high and very low. Good AM stage for its size. Very easy to use once set up, but it takes a bit of practice to get used to station memory setting process. Requires resetting of stations etc when battery is removed.

Effective "on / off" lock and timed "auto-off" function comes in very handy with a pocket radio. Nice strong pocket clip. Long battery life. Sounds very good when connected to a pair of powered minispeakers (it has no built in speaker). Also useful for recording radio directly to computer, or playing through your computer's own sound section, but needs careful location to avoid interference for this purpose.

I've been carting mine around Australia and it has happily survived bouncing around in 4 wheel drives, jostling against other things in my pocket, football matches, camping, the occasional drop, etc with nothing more than some cosmetic surface scratching.

Very happy with mine. Makes an excellent gift, too. (My daughter has put in a request for one for her next birthday)
