Epson 1410+ inkjet color printer has a silver-and-black sleek design. The printer uses Claria Photographic inks which help to create fade resistant, beautiful, gallery size prints of digital photos. The input tray has a capacity to hold 20 sheets of Epson photo paper or 120 sheets of plain paper. The text and photo prints are of good quality. Though it cannot be used for official purposes, it is well acceptable for low end users. The printer speed is decent enough.

The Epson PhotoEnhance technology analyzes the photos and enhances them to correct limitations like exposure, poor lighting, and color casting. You can directly print photos from the digital camera. Just plug in the PictBridge enabled camera to the printer’s USB PictBridge port and you are done. The Epson Creativity Suite features comprehensive imaging solutions. The advanced variable size droplet technology enables the printer to produce five different sizes of droplets depending on the type of document. The printer has six individual cartridges which mean will have to replace the one that runs out of ink. The printer directly prints onto inkjet printable DVDs and CDs.

The Epson 1410+ inkjet color printer does not have a card reader which means the users cannot directly print from a memory card. It also does not have a FireWire connection, which may surprise many users. The black-and-white print quality of the printer is not very impressive. The printer weighs about 12 kilos and can be easily moved. This printer is solely meant for home users.
