The Canon iP100 inkjet color printer is an upgraded version of the iP90v. This upgraded printer has increased number of ink nozzles and double maximum resolution. This has resulted in improved print speed and quality. The design of the inkjet color printer is almost the same as its predecessor. It has a matte-silver finish and glossy black side panels. The paper handling trays extend out of the printer. The input tray has a capacity to hold 50 sheets.

The printer has a USB 2.0 port, an infrared port and PictBridge port on the right side. You can directly print photos from compatible digicams. You can also get a Bluetooth adapter for some extra bucks which will enable you to print wirelessly from a mobile device or laptop. The new model has an improvement over the internal cartridge system compared to the older models. Economic users can save ink with the help of Use Composite mode or Save Black Ink options.
