The media support of the printer is fairly comprehensive. You can also connect your digital camera directly to the printer and can print directly from it. The print speed is fairly up to mark with other printer of the same price range. The printer has a speed of 34 ppm for black and white print and 34 ppm for color print. The photo printing is also quite fast. Quality of photo prints is very good. The advanced photo correction software helps to analyze the image data and adjusts the printer settings according the requirements. The printer uses Epson DURABrite Ultra all-purpose ink. The scanning quality is also decent. With the intelligent ink cartridge system, you will know how much ink is present in the cartridges.

Compared to its predecessor the Epson TX200 printer has a memory-card reader which helps in direct printing. The printer does not have an automatic document feeder and also does not have fax facilities. The printer does not have a LCD screen which means you cannot preview the images before printing. The color in graphical prints look dull compared to other printers. The printer weighs around 6 kilos and can be carried easily. The scanning capabilities of the TX200 multifunction printer are excellent. The printer adjusts the scanned image for straight and accurate print, even if the photo/ document were not placed properly while scanning.
