The Sanza Fuze MP4 player from SanDisk is the next inline following the Sansa Clip and Sansa View, and can also be said to be a fusion of these two models. This player comes in shiny colours including black, blue, pink and red and is availabe at an affordable rate, making it a strong contender in the portable audio market.
As far as the dimensions go, the Sanza Fuze is really slim and as compact as it can get. The design looks somewhat similar to the iPod Nano, and it comes with a clickable scroll wheel, a shiny, plastic face and smooth, metal backside. This model is supposedly ranks high in durability and build-quality than previous Sansa models. The first plus point of this player is that it has a provision to accept microSD cards for expanded storage, thus letting you store more songs, videos or pictures. The sound clarity might not be mind-blowing but is still close to the likes of the Creative Zen V Plus. The Battery life is really awesome with 28.2 hours for audio playback and 6.5 hours for video playback.
The let-downs of this player include a dull inner menu interface and sub-par screen clarity. You cannot customize the menu according to your preferences, and the screen's protective coating casts a dull, grainy shadow over the video and pictures. Apart from these minor issues, the Sanza Fuze MP4 player from SanDisk is definitely a good catch.
