The HP 2840 laser colour multifunction printer is an ideal business-friendly machine that is in direct competition to the Canon ImageClass MF8170c. The HP 2840 has facilities for memory card slots to enable direct photo printing by incorporating the nonmultifunction color laser Konica Minolta Magicolor 2430DL. Another interesting feature of this printer is that it will allow you to send scanned files to a network folder directly, enabling your network members to access it. The HP2840 comes with software equipped with network management tools and a document-management and image-editing application. You can use this computer with both Windows PC and Mac.

The selling point of the HP 2840 is the array of media-card slots that enables easy printing of photos or proof sheets without the need for a computer. The printer is well designed, user friendly and operating the machine is not that big a deal. Moreover the multifunction capability of the printer lets you print, scan, copy and fax documents effortlessly. However, the major drawback of the HP 2840 is the noise during operation.
