The Epson Stylus Office TX300F is an inexpensive inkjet colour multifunction printer targeted at the home-office users. Given the pricing, it would be unfair to expect high standards of performance from this machine, which can print, scan, copy and fax documents to an acceptable quality level. Nevertheless Epson Stylus Office TX300F should meet the minimum requirements of a home-business.

The only good thing about the Epson Stylus TX300F multifunction printer is that it comes with an Automatic document feeder. Considering the price, this feature is a sure bonus. The control panel and the ink cartridges are the same that one might find in all Epson printers. The same is the case with the poor build quality. The printing speed of the Epson Stylus TX300F is relatively very slow with disappointing statistics. The rate of printing a standard text document at draft quality is 13.3 pages per minute, which is way below average. If the print quality is switched to normal, the rate further reduces to 3.5ppm, though there is improvement in the quality. Photo printing is all the more disappointing, because it takes about 4min 44secs to print a normal quality 4 x 6inch photo. A4 photos take even longer to be printed; close to 12 minutes. The bottomline is that this printer is just average, and eventhough the price is tempting, don’t go for it.
