The Brother HL-5350DN Laser Black and White Printer is a small mono-functional device that is guaranteed to offer speedy performance. The consumable cost is really low, and there are four different sizes of toners starting from 3000 pages to 8000 pages; the latter is the most economical. The drum, on the other hand, lasts for 25,000 pages, after which it should be changed. The cartridges of the Brother HL-5350DN separate the toner from the drum. The paper holding capacity is decent with the paper tray capable of holding 250 sheets.

The printer speed is really impressive with 30 pages rolling out per minute in the normal mode. The good thing about this printer is that you can print on both sides of the paper. In this mode, the speed rating hits a decent 13 pages per minute. Brother claims that the first paper will roll out under nine seconds, which is true if the printer is already running. If you start the printer from standby it takes 17 seconds for the first paper to print. Even worse is the fact that if you switch it on and print it will take a shocking 38 seconds to get the first paper out. However, the print quality is really good and the photo print quality is just above average. Overall, this printer is ideal, if the business requires it to be running most of the time, thanks to its speed.
