Olympus is one of the major players in the digital camera industry due to its innovative range of cameras. The Olympus E-620 digital SLR camera is easy on the pocket but when you put it against the digital SLR cameras from Nikon and Canon it seems pretty normal. Most of the Olympus models have a 2.7-inch flip-out and twist LCD display, the E-620 digital SLR camera is no different. The Olympus E-620 model scores with its built-in wireless flash controller. In spite of its nice feature it losses badly to Canon and Nikon due to absence of video mode.

This model weighs just like the Canon EOS Rebel T1i. But it’s far lighter and compact when compared to the Nikon D5000 and the Sony Alpha DSLR-A380. Don’t get fooled by the Olympus trademark grip as this model is not comfortable when compared to the competitors. The 12.3–megapixel Live MOS sensor offers pristine clarity with a host of options for face recognition, shadow adjustment etc. The most important feature is the In-Body image stabilisation technology which compensates for movement by the photographer, giving sharp images even at slow shutter speeds.

Thanks to the Four Thirds lens mount system which has reduced the bulkiness of the image sensor. The battery sustains long periods without reducing the effectiveness of the flash. With different presets, the camera’s picture quality enhances in comparison with offerings from Olympus’s competitors.

Any budget conscious photographer will love it!!!!!!
