The IXUS 110 Digital Camera is a high-quality point-and-shoot digital camera from Canon. Like the earlier models of the IXUS series, the Canon IXUS 70 and the Canon IXUS 90 IS, the IXUS 110 is also a user-friendly digital camera. The camera has a glossy, classic finish. Its metallic surface comes in a choice of colours.

The Canon IXUS 110 Digital Camera features a new Smart Auto Mode that analyses the given subject and conditions in detail via Panasonic’s intelligent auto technology. It automatically chooses from the in-built eighteen options after checking out on the brightness, contrast, distance and overall hue of the scenes to give the best possible result.

Like the other existing Canon cameras, this model features a face self-timer mode. You can start the timer and take your position for a group shot. The camera will automatically detect the new face that appears in the frame and then start the timer. The camera captures the same picture three times so that you get the perfect picture.

The IXUS 110 Digital Camera snaps decent pictures with its 12.1 megapixel sensors. It is also pretty quick. The Canon IXUS 110 IS has a 4x zoom lens with a wide angle of 28mm. A maximum zoom of 112mm is no deal-breaker, though.

Moving to its drawbacks, the most irksome thing about the IXUS 110 Digital Camera is that it doesn’t let you zoom in the movie mode. The picture quality is just so-so. You also don’t get to play around with the camera’s shutter speeds or aperture stops.

All up, the Canon IXUS 110 Digital Camera is a little pricey for its mediocre performance.
