It is an nForce 630a/ nVidia GeForce 7050PV-based, compact motherboard. The motherboard uses the AMD Cool ´n´ Quiet! Technology and also features dual-channel un-buffered DDR2 1066, 2000 MT/s HyperTransport1.0 Bus, and DDR2 800 memories support. The AMD Cool ´n´ Quiet! Technology monitors the system operation and adjusts the CPU frequency and voltage for cool and quiet environment.

M2N68-AM motherboard also supports SATA hard drives which are based on SATA 3Gb/s storage specification. The on-board LAN controller is enhanced with the ACPI management function which offers efficient power management. It supports high definition audio.
