Garmin Nuvi 265 GPS offers several features within affordable budget. It has a widescreen but the display is smaller and has lower resolution. Though it does not have the stunning looks, Nuvi 265 GPS has a slim and compact design. The window mount is small and easy to remove.

The only key to be found on the device is the “power slide key”. All other functions are entirely touch screen. Extra maps or other data are stored on the GPS with the help of the microSD card slot. This is the only device that uses microSD instead of normal SD cards. Charging and synchronization are handled by the regular mini-USB connection. The main menu is very user-friendly but the Bluetooth icon is missing. With the help of the “Where Am I” feature, you can get to know the exact latitude and longitude along with the nearest junction. The voice guidance is excellent. There are two Australian text-to-speech voices which pronounce the street names accurately.

Once the device is paired with a phone, the users can browse their phonebook, use voice dialing, and send messages and access the call history. Garmin Nuvi 265 GPS is very easy-to-use and with this device you can simplify your life on the go. Though the display is not very good, it is reasonable for those with a tight budget. It also does not consist of a built-in FM transmitter. Additionally, it also does not have an MP3 or video player.
