The 6 megapixel cameras are the most preferred configuration in digital cameras and this camera from Panasonic is a good buy especially since it has an excellent zoom feature. The picture resolution get a four start from most users and the camera itself gets thumbs up as an excellent buy. It comes as a bit of surprise really, since Panasonic is not really a brand which is widely known for cameras but innovation of course has no boundaries!

Coming back to some of the excellent features of the Panasonic camera, we have already mentioned that the picture quality is very good and it is also worth mentioning that the camera has some of the state-of-the-art features for a camera in this price range. Talking about price, the Panasonic Lumix DCM F27 is very reasonably priced and it becomes even more reasonable when you consider the number of accessories which come with the camera.

One of the most common usability problems which exist in digital cameras are battery life and the LCD screen. The Panasonic Lumix scores full marks on both these fronts and the camera has an excellent battery life which lets you continue filming without interruption. The shutter lag speed is also quite low, thus permitting action filming as well.

Wondering about the downside of the Panasonic Lumix? Not much but if you need super-wide angle filming then this camera is not for you. Apart from that, the Lumix cannot take in a lot of rough handling as the durability is less than that of weatherproof cameras. If you are not too concerned about these two drawbacks, then the Panasonic camera is an excellent buy and is likely to be by your side for a long time to come.
