The Sony-Ericsson W595 Mobile Phone is neither innovative nor advanced. Sony Ericson has just tinkered a little bit on the design of its previous models and upgraded on a few specs.

The W595 Mobile Phone has a smooth slider mechanism. The camera has been upgraded from 2 megapixels to 3.2 megapixels. The camera, however, lacks a flash. If camera is the key for your purchase, then stay away from this one. The absence of a 3.5mm headphone socket in this walkman phone is really irksome and so is the poor video functionality.

You can access the Multimedia, Flash games and RSS feeds media at the touch of a walkman button. The phone has an HSDPA connection for fast Web browsing and downloading. For a better web experience, install the Opera Mini browser. If you are always on the move, you'll find the quad-band W595 handy in any country that you visit.

The Walkman definitely does not offer richer sound quality than an Apple iPod but yes, the sound is just decent. The call quality is also fine. There is a stereo A2DP Bluetooth, an FM radio, support for fun 3D Java games and integrated stereo speakers on the W595 Mobile Phone.

If you have been using a Sony Ericson for years, you will find no trouble in handling this one because it includes the same old features in a new casing.
