LG changes a few specs here and there or sometimes throws in just one new feature like the Biosilver in this refrigerator’s case and puts it forth as a different model.

The GCB197STS is another side by side refrigerator that is equipped with the standard features that you would expect from a high-end LG refrigerator. The fridge has a capacity of 581 liter. Its stainless steel finish makes its exteriors finger- resistant.

The LG GCB197STS Refrigerator has Digital Sensors that keep a tab on the working of the refrigerator and alter its performance to maximise the storage life of the food produce. Like most of the latest LG refrigerators, the GCB197STS comes with a Bioshield to keep a check on mould proliferation and gasket distortion, so that the fridge seals last longer. Even the liner is coated with inorganic silver ion to prevent the growth of bacteria, fungus and yeast.

The fridge has a magic crisper and the grid pattern on its cover helps in maintaining the optimum moisture inside the crisper. It traps the moisture when the humidity is high and condenses it when the humidity declines.You will no longer need to wait for the ice trays to melt for loosening the ice. The ice trays have a twist lever mechanism that completely takes care of this.
