A Big Screen, but Not Many Admirable Features

The unique design of the LG 50PQ20D frameless TV with a swivel stand comes with many advanced features that kindle everyone’s wish to own it. The large 50-inch widescreen plasma TV with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels delivers excellent picture quality, complemented by the 16:9 aspect ratio. Other features that add to the picture quality are 16 bit colour processing and dynamic MEGA contrast ratio. In addition, the in-built invisible speakers harmonize the picture quality with its stunning audio.

The LG 50PQ20D belonging to the PQ20 series uses the advanced panel technology which includes features like 600Hz Sub-field Driving, dual XD engine and more. The 600Hz Sub-field Driving technology provides superior performance with HD display by reducing motion blur and delivering images with extra-ordinary depth.

The TV comes equipped with a built-in HD tuner and is HDTV compatible, but the resolution does not match up to provide full HD quality images. It also has a USB port connectivity option, to let you connect to all the USB compatible devices.

Though the TV has been designed to match up with many of its competitors, some features like, the inability to support full HD resolution has made this TV stand behind. Otherwise it’s a good TV worth possessing.
