Epson TX100 Inkjet Color Multifunction Printer is very stylish and comes with an attractive glossy finish. This printer can be afforded easily. The multifunction printer is designed in a manner that it delivers high quality results for photocopying, printing, and scanning. Though the print speed is slow, this can be used for home or home office use. Epson claims that the TX100 printer has a speed up to 26ppm for black and white print and 14ppm for color print. The tests show it is much lower than that. Here it needs to be mentioned that the output quality of text printouts are very good. At best photo quality the printer becomes a bit slow, but with regular photo quality it becomes faster. If you are looking for good quality photo prints, it is recommended to use Epson's photo papers instead of regular photo paper. This results in photo prints which show good sharpness and contrast.

If I am asked about the printer’s best feature, I would say it is the scanning engine. It works really fast. The Epson TX100 printer uses the smart scanning software which is both easy to use and powerful.

One thing that needs to be mentioned is that, you will be in trouble while photocopying bulky books. The paper loader has a slide-lever which allows you to select various types of paper. The lever is small enough and many users can find it difficult to use. The printer has only one paper tray which means you can load only one type of paper at a time; whereas, other printers allow you to load papers in separate trays. It also does not have memory card slots.
