Staying connected with my corporate email was a top priority for me and I can safely say that the RIM BlackBerry 8707g helped me achieve this result with the least amount of fuss. Though I did have to adjust to the large size of the phone (especially since I was quite used to a sleek Nokia phone before this one), the QWERTY keypad made it worth while. The large size of the phone also helps accommodate a good screen and battery life which goes on and on.

The RIM BlackBerry 8707g is not a cheap solution and you should be ready to dish out $$$ for the phone. The subscription also costs extra and there is no on board camera with the phone which might discourage many users and though there is not much by way of external applications, the BlackBerry still manages to make the 8707g attractive with the built-in softwares.

The USP of BlackBerry continues to rule and there is no other phone which could offer me the same level of comfort when it came to email. However, if your requirement focuses more on telephony services than on email features, then the BlackBerry is not the ideal phone for you (as some of my friends discovered later on). If you have used previous BlackBerry models, then you would realize that the 8707g is a lot lighter and this can really a good thing if you are always on the move.
