Strengths: Amazing motion gaming function and reasonably priced

Weaknesses: Addictive! Graphics are not so great and the motion remote might get stuck in a rare moment

The Wii from Nintendo has changed the way the world thinks about sports. Though it is a video console, the Wii manages to bring home Sports (and other games) like no other console can manage. Though the Wii suffers from an ''underdog' syndrome when compared with other gaming consoles, it still manages to impress with its unique functions which cannot be found in other consoles. If you are looking for a reasonably priced gaming console for yourself or your children, you cannot go wrong with the Nintendo Wii.

It might be a good idea to warn you before you buy you Nintendo Wii...it is extremely addictive! Wii Sports lets you play couch sports and helps some users get rid of some of the guilt which comes from not exercising enough. The graphics of the Wii are just about OK…not as great as the PS2 or Xbox but it does not really matter when you are playing it. The innovative motion remote performs well most of the times but there are occasions where it might get stuck, frustrating the user no end. However, this is not a frequent occurrence.

There is room for improvement in the console and the next version is very likely to address most of it. However, the motion gaming concept helps Wii stand out in a very competitive gaming console industry and the price tag helps tremendously. The verdict for Wii is very good and it offers value-for-money and assures hours of non-stop gaming fun. The next version is likely to be even better than this!
