Strengths: Good quality product with new features for Internet security, advanced features

Weaknesses: No single user version,takes a lot of disk space, no Firefox support, too advanced for the home-based users

Viruses really play havoc with computers and you need to buy an anti-virus and there is no time like the present. The Symantec Norton Internet Security 2007 is perfect for home based users and offers a solid security system which protects computers from virus attacks as well as any kind of unauthorized behavior in the computer.

Though the Internet Security 2007 from Symantec is advanced and most suited for users which work extensively online. However, do keep in mind that software is rarely perfect (or even close to it at times) and the Symantec anti-virus is no different…it is a bit too advanced for the average user and does not have a number of features which are required to sync with the new range of internet browsers such as Firefox.

Apart from this, the Symantec product also takes a lot more hard disk space than other similar product and this reduces the product's popularity a few notches. Non-availability of single user versions can result in further consumer dissatisfaction (this was something that even we could not figure out). I would rank this Internet Security product a seven on ten even with all its shortcomings and hope that the next version addresses these problems effectively.
