Acer’s 22” monitor is just fantastic

Strengths: Good display, very good exterior styling and very reasonably priced including three year limited warranty

Weaknesses: Colors might not pass very close inspection and height adjustment is not available

Acer aces it with the new 22” monitor and it gets full marks when it comes to performance and picture quality. However, it is the pricing which gets most users interested in the monitor in the first place and it is only once you begin using the monitor you realize that it is an excellent buy. Some users feel that the VGA display is the best in the monitor and this is quite true.

It is difficult to find something negative in this Acer AL2216 22” monitor. The game viewing experience is excellent and it offers very stylish exterior. However, there is no height adjustment which makes it a bit cumbersome to use in odd places. If you look very closely, the screen does not have very standard color display but this problem is not all that easy to detect. The Acer monitor does not come with any backlighting but it is not really a problem once you start using the monitor.

Enjoy the monitor and the excellent pricing helps in creating market share and additional features such as energy saving features and the availability in black and other colors make it go well with most PCs and décor. The three year warranty is limited in nature but ensures that you can get the Acer monitor checked in case of any issues. So if a good quality monitor with reasonable pricing is your requirement, then the Acer AL2216 is the best bet.
