Strengths: Flat back design, compact freezer

Weaknesses: Manual defrost, not energy saving

The LG GR-051SS bar refrigerator is such a product with simple and easy to use features. The refrigerator has a compact design with a well designed horizontal door handle to offer a comfortable grip.

The anti-rust body is made of enamel coated plastics with polyurethane insulated cabinet and doors. It does not occupy a lot of space as it has a flat back design. The door opens to the right for easy access and has a complete magnetic gasket seal. With an internal thermostat, the LG GR-051SS refrigerator has a capacity of 46 litres making it ideal for use in bars, holiday cabins, caravans and boats. There is a single plastic coated metal shelf to hold your favourite food. It also contains a compact freezer section to hold an ice cube tray.

On the downside, the LG GR-051SS bar refrigerator has only manual defrost and has an evaporator fixed right under the freezer. However, it sports a drip tray that catches the water that drips off the evaporator when defrosting takes place. The drip tray ensures that no water drips onto the food items and can be easily removed and cleaned. It features only a 3 star energy rating, and hence is not a very energy efficient product.
