You can take the multi-media experience to a whole new level with the Asus 3D graphic capability. It’s slightly more expensive than any regular single-chip 3D card but it’s worth it due to its stunning performance. The Asus GTX 280 card is preferred over NVIDIA 9800GX2 due to the powerful 1GB GDDR3 memory and Crysis game test results.

It shows far better performance for high-end games such as Call of duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 compared to previous versions of NVIDIA. The Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 graphics card also features a 240 stream processor, DirectX 10 support and a 512-Bit memory interface. Another great aspect is that the Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 graphics card is PhysX ready. You no longer require a dedicated PhysX card to play games that solely require PhysX support. This GeForce GTX 280 card will suffice. It’s also safe to say that the Asus GTX 280 can give tough competition to ATI.

Asus efficient GPU-based computing is another powerful feature that’s worth mentioning. If it would have featured DirectX 10.1 support and GDDR4 or 5 RAM it would have added more power to the GTX 280.
