The Eee PC 701SD laptop from Asustek has got a 7-inch screen and it’s really low of cost. In the place of the usual Intel Atom CPU in older 701 models, this Asus laptop comes with a Celeron processor. Also, encompassing a slightly redesigned chassis in comparison to the standard Eee PC 701, the Asus Eee PC 701 SD Laptop comes in white/black casing.

Owing to its size, the PC 701 SD Laptop is a good choice for college students and kids. Even the icons are arranged in a practical and easy to find style and it doesn't take long time to charge the battery either. The built in high speed and exclusive 10GB file-encrypted Eee storage space gives you enough freedom to save confidential data. Although, the memory space can be enlarged, makes it a better version than its competitors in line.

Its screen size is approximately half an A4-sized sheet, which takes some time to getting used to. The keyboard looks cramped along with an ultra sensitive mouse. With a battery backup of 3.5 hours, if Asustek would have added some extra RAM, the Asus Eee PC 701SD is ideal for reliable outdoor usage, worth the deal.
